Christmas Seasonal parties in Sydney
Sydney, Australia: December 18, 2009, (PCTV reporter: Stephen Bari)As Australian spirit & tradition December is a season of Christmas parties and get together celebrate at different fields of life. According to this tradition “Australian Indian Christian Fellowship” celebrated Christmas party on 12th December at Fairfield Church in Sydney. More than 100 people from different communities (Fijian, Indian and Pakistani) participated in this party. Pastor John Pillay, Mr. Johnson Joseph gave Christmas greetings to participants as well as to round the world Christians.
JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service Australia) JRS staff gathered with refugees, asylum seekers, volunteers and supporters to celebrate the wonderful accomplishments of 2009. The annual rooftop Christmas Party was held in honor of all those who supported the work of JRS. This party was held at Elizabeth Bay on 10th December. From different communities enthusiastically participated and shows national hood in this party. Ms Louise Stack and staff said warm welcome to all participants. At the end JRS distributed gifts among the participant.
