Pakistan Christian Congress, Lahore council has signed the campaign of Religions for Peace
Lahore, Pakistan: December 26, 2009, (PCTV Newsdesk)Pakistan Christian Congress – Lahore council has signed the campaign of Religions for Peace, the World’s largest and most representative global coalition. The campaign is entitled as "ARMS DOWN which focuses on Shared Security".
In sharing his words about the campaign Mr. Inderias Dominic Bhatti, the president of the council in Lahore Council Christmas Dinner said that we stand and affirm any effort of reverence to life, human dignity, passion and peace in any form; in the form of any thought, word, deed, gesture, call, campaign or movement.
We unconditionally shoulder our solidarity to “Religions for Peace youth call” and thus add all our brain and bran to:
- Abolish nuclear weapons;
- Stop the proliferation and misuse of conventional weapons;
- Redirect 10 percent of military expenditure to achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015.
The comments of Mrs. Shaheen Bhatti made a big clap when she requested Lahore Council to add "Male Superiority Down – Gender Equality" on it focused programs as well.
