Iqbal Town - Peaceful Rally to condemn heinous incident of Gojra
Islamabad: August 30, 2009, (PCTV Newsdesk)Christian Community of Iqbal Town Islamabad organized a Peaceful rally on 30th August 30, 2009 from Iqbal Town to Highway Road to condemn the incident of Gujra and express their solidarity with the brother and sisters of Gujra victim of these atrocities. Fr. Anwer and pastors of these areas led the rally.
More 700 people took part in the rally. All were holding banners, play cards and chanting slogans to condemn this gory incident in which 8 people deceased and more hundred houses were blazed. They were demanding to arrest and punish the culprit involved in these incidents and repeal all the discriminatory laws in the country. They demand justice and urged the government to ensure and protect the rights religious
