Caritas pakistan Lahore, Tree Plantation Ceremony at Saint Joseph High school, Thornton Road, Lahore held on Feb 15, 2010.

Most Rev. Bishop Sebastian Shaw (Archdiocese of Lahore) inaugurated the plantation ceremony by planting a sapling at St. Joseph Girls High School, Thornton Road, Anarkali Parish, Lahore on Feb 15, 2010 organized by Livelihood Program Caritas Pakistan Lahore. Earlier Rev. Fr. Inayat Bernard (Executive Secretary Caritas Pakistan Lahore), Mr. Amir Rafiq (Coordinator Livelihood Program Caritas Pakistan Lahore) and Mr. Amir Irfan (National Coordinator Livelihood Program) highlighted the importance of plants in human life. They added that plantation will enhance the beauty of the earth and will reduce the pollution. 300 students participated in the ceremony. Rev. Sr. Agnes thanked the guests and Caritas Pakistan for the plantation ceremony. Rev. Fr. Tariq Issac thanked Most. Rev. Bishop Sebastian Shaw and Caritas Pakistan for Tree plantation Ceremony at School & Parish and provision of 1000 plants. The plantation ceremony was facilitated by Mr. Maqsood Francis (Coordinator Animation Program), Mr. Soby Bhatti and Ms. Mariam Saleem (area animators).
