Livelihood Program, Caritas Pakistan Multan organized 'One Day Seminar' at two villages in Diocese of Multan

Livelihood Program, Caritas Pakistan Multan organized "one day seminar" in two villages (Ch. 185/ ML, Layyah and Chak # 5/ 4- L Rang Pur, Muzafar Ghar on 07 March and 14 March 2010.
The main objective of these seminars was to promote kitchen gardening at household level ensuring availability of fresh vegetables to a family as per their need and choice.
After the seminars, participants visited to those women who growing vegetables in their houses successfully. These seminars facilitated by Gulzar Sadiq (Program Coordinator), Rev. Fr. Ishaque Yaqoob (Parish Priest), Anthony Mahboob, Javaid Ghulam and Laban Zia. After the seminars vegetables nursery (paneery) and plants distributed to all the participants. 85 male and female farmers participated in these seminars.
