JOY Koinonia Youth Peshawar organized one day seminar 'New Life in Christ' at Saint John's Vianney Catholic Church, Peshawar City on March 23, 2010.
Seminar started at 8:00 AM and ended at 5:30 PM. About 2000 people from different denominations and religions from Peshawar,Rawalpindi , Kohat, Cherat and Tarbela participated in the seminar. The main resource person was Rev. Fr. James Shamaun. Fr. James is Founder of JOY Koinonia Pakistan, and Director of Charismatic in Diocese of Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
The seminar was very first in the history of catholic church in Peshawar where huge gathering stay for full day in worship environment. Participants were very happy and blessed and showed lot of interest for such type of programs in future.

JOY Koinonia Youth Peshawar was organizer of the seminar. As for the preparation of the seminar, the youth participated very actively in the arrangements of the seminar. They worked day and night in the making the banners and charts for the church. Around 800 hand made book marks were made by the youth as souvenirs for the attendants and white handkerchiefs, which were anointed during the seminar were also distributed among the people . The material used, during the seminar for different dynamics, was also prepared by the youth members .The youth also spent a week in cleaning the Church and its premises.
At the end of the seminar meal served to the participants from Peshawar in ground of Saint John's Vianney School and participants from other cities in hall of Saint John's Vianney School.
All the members of the youth invested their money and time in the preparations of seminar.
