Pakistan Adam Rights (Human Rights Society) in Sialkot visited the District Jail Sialkot to celebrate the Easter Day with christian prisoners on the Easter

Pakistan Adam Rights (Human Rights Society) in Sialkot visited the District Jail Sialkot to celebrate the Easter Daywith christian prisoners on 4th Apri, 2010, on the Easter. The delegation was led by the Chairman, Lukas Pervaiz Luka(Advocate) including Malik Shamas Pervaiz (Vice Chairman), Pastor Shamshad, Farukh Javaid (President), Imtiaz WaseemRaj (Chief Organizer), Malik Rehan Amer, William Masih, Babar Masih, Shahzad Ray and the others.
The delegation was warmly welcome by the jail administration including Mr. Peerzada and the other officials. The holy masswas arranged in the jail on this occassion. Firstly the Easter cake was cut and the sweets distributed among the prisoners.Mr. Robin (priosner) performed as stage secretary. Paster Shamashad presented the Easter Sermon.
The chairman Lukas Pervaiz Luka said that it is the foremost duty of Pakistan Adam Rights to celebrate Easter and Christmaswith christian prisoners and like previous ones, this time also they have arranged such celebration in the jail. He further said thatthe christian prisoners should not act against the law and should live a peaceful life as Jesus has commanded us.
Malik Shamas Pervaiz, the vice chairman said that this is great priviledge to celebrate Easter with christian prisoners in the jail.He thanked the government and jail administration to provide such facility. Mr. Farukh Javaid and Imtiaz Waseem Raj also addressedthe ceremony.
In the end the lunch was served among the prisoners.
