Caritas Pakistan Lahore organized an introductory and motivational meeting on Women Empowerment

Caritas Pakistan Lahore organized an introductory and motivational meeting at St. Alfonse Church, Samanabad Parish Lahore. 250 men, women and children participated in this meeting. Ms. Saima Francis (Coordinator Women Empowerment Program) presented introduction of CPL and aims & objectives of Women Empowerment Program. She emphasized that a group of women would be organized and we would strive to make them skilled.
She added that our women are facing difficulties to work outside because their parents and husband’s do not allow them to work outside. That’s way they can’t play positive role in family income and remained poor. If they become skilled, they would be able to contribute in family income.
Ms Sumirna Wilson (trainee in Women Empowerment Program) shared the importance of children with the help of examples. She expressed her views that the Children are beautiful creature of the earth and our role for children development is very important because they are the future of a nation. So, this is the time to make our future strong and get them educated. Ms Saima Francis also expressed that opportunities should be provided to children for experience their skills and be important part of nation.
At the end of the program, Ms Saima Francis appealed the attendants for support and prayers for flood victims.
Sr. Laveezia , Babu Naeem Nathaniel and Babu Daniel Bhatti supported a lot to organize this program. Rev. Fr. Anwar Lazar thanked to the participants and the Caritas Pakistan Lahore team members.
