Lahore, Pakistan: September 05, 2010, (PCTV Newsdesk)Livelihood Program of Caritas Pakistan Lahore organized two days training on Fuel Efficient Stove Technology at Awan Muslim near Narang Mandi on Aug 31 - Sep 1, 2010
Mr. Amir Rafiq (Diocesan Coordinator Livelihood Program Caritas Pakistan Lahore) elaborated the awful affects of the conventional stove. He explained that Fuel Efficient Stove is effective as it saves time, improve the health of the women, and reduces 50% fuel consumption. Two dishes can be prepared at the same time and this stove also reduces air pollution due to less fuel consumption and less smoke. The training was facilitated by Nadeem Siddique (Lab Supervisor Caritas Pakistan Lahore) and Latif Rehmat (Area Animator). 47 females enthusiastically participated in the training.
