President of Pakistan pays tribute to Shahbaz Bhatti
Islamabad, Pakistan: March 09, 2011, (PCTV Newsdesk)Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan met the family of Shahbaz Bhatti at Aiwan-e-Sadar (President House, Islamabad). President paid a tribute to Bhatti’s sacrifice rendered for the country, the party and religious minorities for promoting interfaith harmony and tolerance would not go in vain and would be always remembered.
“Shahbaz Bhatti was a global ambassador of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for interfaith harmony who was seen in the world as the party’s face of tolerance, harmony and respect for minorities in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan and the PPP’s party manifesto”, he said.
