On Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October 2021, Prime Minister Andrej Babis of the Czech Republic will hold talks with EU Presidents and Prime Ministers at the Ordinary European Council on high energy prices, migration, EU trade policy and the coronavirus. Digital transformation and external relations.

The main discussion is expected to revolve around the topic of the recent sharp rise in energy prices, which is a priority for the Czech Republic. Leaders will discuss measures at the national and European level that need to be taken to address the effects of this increase. It will also return to the topic of migration, particularly its external dimension.
