Since his assumption of power on 1/1/2020, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq – may God protect him – has made several foreign visits, involving the Gulf States and two European countries, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Germany.

The United Kingdom has visited twice in the past and the third visit begins tomorrow.

First Personal Visit:
It started from 12/14/2021 and lasted for 10 days as His Majesty arrived on 12/24/2021 AD.

The visit came in an effort to further advance the special relations between the two countries with common goals, visions and interests, and in support of strong ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom to achieve aspirations and hopes. The two people, in addition to discussing current issues of concern to both sides in the regional and international arena.

There, Her Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq met with the late Queen Elizabeth II, who presented Her Majesty with a High Honorary Knighthood Medal in recognition of the honor and pride in the historic ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom.

Second personal visit:
It began on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, and Her Majesty returned to the Sultanate on August 5, 2022.

During this visit, His Highness Sultan Haitham made a private trip from the United Kingdom to the German Republic lasting several days.

During this visit, His Highness Syed the Yazan bin Haitham attended the graduation ceremony from St. Hurst College, Block 222.
