Six government agencies are participating in Saudi Arabia to raise the Saudization rates in operating and maintenance contracts in government agencies, and companies in which the state contributes at least 51% of their capital.
The government agencies work as partners of the program, which are: Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Ministry of Finance, Spending Efficiency and Governmental Projects AuthorityThe Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf”, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, to provide a number of incentives, enablers and support programs for enterprises operating in the operation and maintenance sector targeted in the Emiratisation program.
The program’s partners provide several incentives to contribute to the development and improvement of the work environment in the operation and maintenance sector, and support it for growth and expansion in attracting national cadres, in addition to implementing programs to support the rehabilitation and empowerment of male and female citizens from administrative, engineering, supervisory, technical and craft job opportunities in the sector.
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, had issued a ministerial decision to raise the Emiratisation rates for the targeted jobs in the operation and maintenance contracts in government agencies, and for companies in which the state contributes at least 51% of their capital. In operation and maintenance contracts in public entities, with the aim of unifying the mechanisms for applying Emiratisation requirements and its efficiency in all contracts, and achieving the resolution’s objectives in qualifying and empowering male and female citizens to work in the sector.
