Companies want to test
Czech companies want to start vaccinating their employees against the Coronavirus. 86 percent of the companies that participated in the April survey of the Industry and Transport Association plan to rank for their people.
Half of the companies ready to vaccinate employees want to set up a vaccination center directly on the company’s headquarters. They also give vaccinations to employees of other companies or family members of employees.
Nine out of ten companies said they would like to use vaccination sites for an extended period, for example for re-vaccination.
Monet’s profit decreased
In the first quarter, Moneta Bank’s net profit fell 18 percent year-on-year to nearly 600 million CZK. According to the bank, the decline is due to the lack of proceeds from the sale of bonds that have not been repeated this year.
Europe sold the most electric cars
Last year was a good year for electric cars. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), its sales increased 41% year-on-year to reach 3 million, which is less than 5% of the total cars sold. Ten million of them have traveled on roads around the world.
For the first time in history, Europe became the number one electric vehicle sold, overtaking still ruling China. In Europe, 1.4 million electric cars were registered last year, and in China 1.2 million.
Last year, customers spent a third more on electric cars – $ 120 billion globally. Governments have allocated $ 14 billion to support it. It is a quarter more than a year ago.
