German star Toni Kroos decided to retire from international football, after he bid farewell with the “Manchester” team, the European Nations Cup “Euro 2020” from the round of 16, after losing to England (2-0) on Tuesday.
The German newspaper, “Bild”, said that the 31-year-old Kroos decided to suspend his shoes internationally, so that the loss from England would be the last match he plays for his national team.
This coincides with the fact that England’s match is the last for coach Joachim Loew, whose association with the German national team ends once the machine’s European Cup campaign ends.
Thus, Kroos will not be among the options of the new coach of Germany, Hans Flick, in the Qatar World Cup 2022.
The current Real Madrid star was satisfied with his successful international career with his country, which saw him win the 2014 World Cup.
It is noteworthy that Kroos played his first international match with the German national team, on March 3, 2010, and it was against Argentina.
