Imagine you have 20 days for a family vacation. What would you do?
Of course, there are many options. We were interested in a vacation that a Dane named Martin Sundal took. And you can guess it’s about cars. you are right…
Sundal is the owner of a modified 991-generation Porsche 911 Turbo, in which he enjoys driving so much that he regularly takes it on various trips around Europe. On the modified Porsches Facebook page, they regularly display photos from their travels, for example from Paris or Spain. No wonder the Turbo already has quite a few miles. In February, Martin showed an odometer image of 155,555 kilometers.
But Sundal also enjoys his Porsche at the racetracks, and obviously loves the Nürburgring, which he has also visited several times. And we have to add that his 911 Turbo has been modified – although a complete list of modifications is not available, we only know of a revised exhaust system, a new rear spoiler and an increase in performance. It has about 800 horsepower!
Thus, Porsche combines high performance and sharpness with a “gothic” character. In addition, Martin recently showed that the 911 will also be a family car. This brings us to the holiday mentioned at the beginning…
Sundal recently loaded his wife and two young children into a German sports car and set off on another trip around Europe. During this – that is, 20 days – he managed to drive 8,300 kilometers, and in addition to Denmark, he visited six other countries (Germany, Poland, France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland) and even completed two public trips on unnamed circuits.
In order for the family to manage such a long journey, only one small “modification” was needed: the Porsche 911 Turbo received a roof box that was attached to the large spoiler in addition to the roof.
So what do you say, isn’t this the perfect way to spend 20 days with your family?
