The British Home Office announced that 482 immigrants were coming to the UK via the English Channel in the last 24 hours.
According to لشبكة Another 246 people were stopped by French forces as “Sky News” tried to reach UK territory.
“Immigrants should seek refuge in other countries rather than trying to reach the UK in more countries and unsafe boats,” the British government said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the report: “These dangerous crossings for small boats organized by criminal gangs are life threatening.”
“This is unacceptable, so we are taking the necessary steps,” said Don Omahoni, director of the Immigration Control Service.
By 2021, more than 10,000 people had crossed the English Channel in small boats.
British Home Secretary Priti Patel had earlier signed an agreement with France restricting the entry of migrants.
