Actor Ahmed Hatem talked about the scenes of his participation in a swimming race that he entered after winning the Guinness Book of Records.
Hatem said that he loved swimming since his childhood, and was constantly exercising, but he moved away from him about 16 years ago, and was winning swimming championships.
He continued, “I was fortunate to be chosen with the rest of the team, and I continued to train during a short period of time so as not to be a burden to them. This is a difficult event to be repeated and I am proud to participate in it.”
He added: We were 100 people who participated in this event, and people with special needs participated with us and encouraged us and were in the forefront, and we were able to break the number in about a minute, to enter the encyclopedia.
It is noteworthy that Ahmed Hatem participated in the Egyptian team, which includes 100 swimmers from various governorates of Egypt, and they were able to achieve the record in the 50-meter freestyle relay, in a time of 42 minutes and 12 seconds, beating the English national swimming team in 2019, which was able to swim that distance In a time of 43 minutes and 32 seconds.
On the other hand, Ahmed Hatem is currently shown the series “Les La 2”, starring the artist, Menna Shalaby, on the “Shahid” platform and in the writing of a workshop chaired by Maryam Naoum and directed by Maryam Abu Auf.
