The renewal of the lines mainly relates to communications with the Mediterranean Sea.
More than twenty destinations will be added to the departure boards of Vaclav Havel Airport during the month of June. The start of the season, along with more flexible travel conditions, a number of pre-defined transport companies and routes return to Prague.
According to Prague Airport, Ryanair and Smartwings are planning their biggest flight renewal during June. The summer season continues. Carriers have added flights to other destinations since the beginning of June, so in total it will be possible to travel directly from Prague to more than 70 cities in June. Ryanair will resume direct flights to a dozen destinations in the first half of the month, and Smartwings will fly to seventeen more destinations. Czech Airlines is adding links to Malta, as Air Malta will also offer the route. Other airlines will also return to Prague Airport, and Iberia, Eurowings and Wizz Air will resume.
“With the current summer season, airlines are gradually adding links to other destinations, and renewing their flights at the beginning of June to popular holiday destinations and other places of interest in Europe. We expect a further increase in traffic and the number of passengers handled in the coming weeks and months. Czech demand for travel is increasing and it will not only be supported by the continuous vaccinations of people of other ages, adjustment of travel conditions, but also by the planned introduction of so-called Covid passports, which will standardize travel in the European Union. Said Yaroslav Philip, Director of Aviation Business at Prague Airport.
Passengers will always find complete flight schedules and ticket sales on the websites of individual carriers. Passengers are examined under strict hygienic conditions, including frequent disinfection of aircraft. The airport is also undergoing increased disinfection and cleaning of all areas it frequents, including passenger gates. Procedures may vary on individual airlines, however, it is essential that the nose and mouth be covered throughout the flight. Passengers will always find all the information about the rules on board the plane on the airline’s website. Passengers must also carefully discover the current conditions of entry to their destination and return to the Czech Republic, which can change a lot.
