Al-Ahly youth professional, Brazilian Carlos Eduardo, entered the management options of Al-Ahly Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to support the team’s ranks during the winter transfer period.
The Saudi Al-Ahly administration has identified several foreign options to support the ranks of the first football team, after obtaining a certificate of financial competence that allows the registration of new deals in the Mercato.
And the Saudi newspaper Al-Bilad indicated that the Al-Ahly administration is interested in contracting Carlos Eduardo, the former Al-Hilal player, who has only six months left in his contract with Al-Ahly Youth of Dubai.
Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia is seeking to change two of its foreign professionals during the winter Mercato period, as the administration’s intention is to dispense with Senegalese wing Hassan Ndaw and Tunisian right-back Hamdi El-Naqaz.
Al-Ahly is in a strong competition with Al-Faisaly, who also wants to win the services of Eduardo during the winter Mercato period in order to strengthen the ranks of Al-Annabi in preparation for the AFC Champions League competitions.
Al-Faisaly President Fahd Al-Medlej confirmed in media statements that there are indeed ongoing negotiations with Al-Ahly youth in order to win Eduardo’s services in the winter, but the two parties have not yet reached any agreement on the deal.
