The countdown to the upcoming confrontation between Al-Hilal of Sudan and Al-Ahly of Egypt began on Friday evening, in the second round of the African Champions League group stage.
Al Hilal is seeking to achieve its first victory in the group stage, after it fell in the opening round away from its home by Sun Downs of South Africa, with a goal free of charge.

Hisham Al-Sobat, Al-Hilal club president, confirmed in exclusive statements to “Al-Ain Sports” that the preparations for confronting Al-Ahly started very early, and I started by setting up a camp in Cairo for two weeks.
The president of the Sudanese club referred to the efforts made recently to prepare the stadium for the upcoming confrontation.
