Apple today Released a new update for Safari Technology PreviewApple browser test first introduced March 2016. Apple designed the “Safari Technology Preview” to test features that may be introduced in future versions of Safari.
Version 156 of the Safari Technical Preview includes bug fixes and performance improvements for the web browser, CSS, JavaScript, display, media, web animations, accessibility, web API, and Safari extensions.
The current “Safari Technology Preview” version is based on the Safari 16 update and includes support for the upcoming feature. macOS Ventura Live text, passwords, web extension improvements, and more.
The new version of “Safari Technology Preview” is compatible with devices running macOS 13 Ventura, unlike previous versions of Safari Technology Preview, which do not work with macOS Big Sur.
The Safari Technology Preview update is available to anyone via the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences. I downloaded the browser. Full update release notes available On the Safari Technology Preview website.
Apple’s goal with Safari Technology Preview is to gather feedback from developers and users about the browser’s development process. Safari Technology Preview can run alongside your existing Safari browser, and while it’s designed for developers, it doesn’t require a developer account to download.
