Bahrain and Britain discuss ways to improve bilateral cooperation

Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said that during the meeting, regional and international developments and issues of common concern were discussed, stressing the importance of communication and consultation on various challenges, increasing cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries in international forums, to serve the interests of both countries. .

Al-Sayani expressed Bahrain’s appreciation for the UK government’s announcement that it will launch a new electronic travel permit system from next year 2023, which will contribute to the simplification of travel procedures, with full visa exemption for Bahraini and GCC citizens. Citizens of Bahrain and the GCC countries have signed negotiations for a free trade agreement between the two sides, indicating the positive development that can be seen from bilateral cooperation in various fields to the United Kingdom, which reflects the desire. Strengthening strategic ties between them.
