Bigme launched the new inkNote Color tablet, priced at $699.
The Chinese company explained that the technical equipment package for the new tablet includes a 10.3-inch E Ink Kaleido 2 screen, which is suitable for reading e-books under direct sunlight and has low energy consumption and displays “thousands” of colors, in addition to the possibility of using an input pen. Big Me is promoting the new tablet, which is based on the Google Android operating system, with a screen resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels and a pixel density of 226 pixels per square inch, as long as the contents are displayed in gray tones only.
When displaying content in color, the screen works with a resolution of 936 x 702 pixels and a pixel density of 117 pixels per square inch. The built-in front light allows the tablet to be used at night, and the data entry pen can be used to take notes by hand.
The new inkNote Color tablet is based on an eight-core processor with a speed of up to 2.3 GHz, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via a microSD external memory card.
The front camera works accurately 5 megapixels and the main camera accurately 8 megapixels, which can be used to scan documents, and the new tablet has four microphones to operate the dictation function, in addition to the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the side of the aluminum body of the device.
