Even the third game in the series between Boston and Washington did not recognize the winner after sixty minutes. The Bruins tied twice during the match, but broke the match in overtime. Less than a minute later, Taylor Hall responded to Alexander Ovechkin’s opening goal and Brad Marchand scored overtime shortly after midway through the third half.

In preparation, he waited until the 86th minute, when he took advantage of goalkeeper Ilga Samsonova’s error in Craig Smith’s pass.

Carolina defeated Nashville 3-0 thanks to 32 strikes from goalkeeper Alex Nedilikovic, and after her second home win, she advanced 2-0 in matches. Sebastian Aho scored the first two goals of the Hurricanes.

The Finnish midfielder sent Karolina to the top spot in the ninth minute and scored the empty Predator goal 53 seconds before the end of normal playing time. Warren Voyage finished the score with half a minute before the last siren.

Edmonton failed to make the third game of the opening match with Winnipeg and lost 4: 1. In the 29th minute, Oilers sent Jesse Bologgarve up front, but that was it all from Edmonton.
