(XINHUA) – ANCHORAGE, MAR 20 – China and the United States have decided to set up a joint working group on climate change. The Chinese delegation for high-level strategic dialogue between China and the United States said yesterday.
According to the delegation, China and the United States have pledged to enhance communication and cooperation in the field of climate change.
Based on the spirit of the telephone conversation between the respective heads of state on February 11, they will maintain dialogue and communication, engage in mutually beneficial cooperation, avoid misunderstandings and misunderstandings, and promote a healthy and sustainable development of the conflict between China and the United States.
On both sides, the Chinese delegation noted the hope that this type of high-level strategic communication will continue.
According to the delegation, the two-day talks, which ended yesterday in Anchorage, Alaska, reiterated the US adherence to a Chinese policy on the Taiwan issue.
