Clattenburg, head of the referees committee of the Egyptian Football Association, and members of the committee, Ahmed Abu El-Ela, Tamer Dori, Mohamed Farouk and Ayman Djeish, met with the Egyptian Premier League referees and assistant referees, in two separate meetings via Zoom technology.

The sources indicated that the referees inquired earlier about the fate of their dues for the management of the League Cup matches, from the officials of the Football Association, who in turn informed the referees that paying the dues for that tournament is not the responsibility of the Jabaliya, but rather the responsibility of the Professional Clubs Association, since the League Cup was organized by it.
