Welch’s statements were published by the latter on his YouTube page, and his comment came after the uproar raised by American sports journalist Grant Wahl, who said that security personnel asked them to take off rainbow-colored clothes before entering the stadium.

The Saudi academic concluded by saying: “His chauvinistic centralism inherited since colonial times, and recognizes that man is not only Western, but also Asian, African, and Latino, and his values are not all absolute and priority. And not just him..”
