Knuspr.de couriers in Germany deliver orders from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 10 pm. The company stated that it guarantees delivery within three hours of ordering.
Before going live, the company conducted a beta test. It was apparently successful, and the feedback from customers was supposed to be mostly positive.
In the winter, the company wants to start delivery in Frankfurt am Main. Next year, it plans to expand the service to Dortmund, Hamburg or Cologne.
Rohlík.cz has been operating in the Czech Republic since 2014. In December last year, the group launched the Gurkerl.at service in Vienna. In addition, it also operates in Hungary as Kifli.hu, making Germany the fourth country in which the company operates.
In the near future, the group should also expand to include Romania, Italy, France and Spain.
More than seven billion investors
The group recently received 190 million euros (4.8 billion kroner) from investors for the German expansion. The main investors were Partic and Index Ventures, followed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, J&T Banca, Quadrille Capital, R2G and current investor Enern.
“Three months later, we won another 100 million euros (2.5 billion kroner) and achieved rhino status (Companies worth more than a billion dollars – note. red.),” company founder Tomáš Čupr added.
Last year, the Rohlik Group increased its turnover by one hundred percent to 300 million euros (7.6 billion kroner) and served 750,000 customers.
