Cultural / Princess Noura University organizes inspiring trips for its students in the path of astronomy and space

Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University organized, during the period from 4-10 October, in coordination with the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, represented by the Institute of Space and Aviation Research, inspiring trips to the path of astronomy and space, targeting creative and innovative talents and those interested in the field of students and employees of Princess Bint University Abdulrahman.
The university allocated October activities under the title “Women in Space” in conjunction with the World Space Week for the year 2021 AD, with the aim of promoting a culture of creativity and innovation to serve the community locally and internationally, and establishing a joint research system for the space sector between King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University. Empowering creative competencies in the space field, and transforming innovative and distinguished research ideas into value-added projects for the Saudi economy.
The trips included sending participants to the Institute of Space and Aviation Research to develop knowledge in the field of space, highlighting the importance of satellites in daily life and its impact on our lives, and presenting a series of workshops, meetings and visits, including: orbits workshop, image processing workshop, optics workshop, in addition to visiting the station Ground floor, remote sensing center.
