king dagger
The dagger of the golden king is considered one of the most important possessions of Tutankhamun, which sparked controversy in the last period; A recent study was recently published in the Journal of Meteorites and American Planetary Sciences, confirming that the dagger material may have come from outer space, and there are many studies that have been conducted on the holdings of the Golden King and his life, since his tomb was discovered in 1922 AD, and among those studies is what the Egyptian team has done From the study of the royal mummies found in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, as well as in a number of archaeological sites in Egypt headed by archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, in the year 2021 AD.
The iron of the king’s dagger came from a meteorite
About six years ago, a study revealed that the iron used in King Tutankhamun’s dagger was from a meteorite.
A new study published in the latest issue of “Meteoritics and Planetary Science”, led by researcher Tomoko Arai of the Planetary Exploration Research Center in Japan, found what went further, and that the meteorite from which the iron came was from a group called “octahedrite.” It is the largest known iron meteorite.
Zahi Hawass responds
Dr. Zahi Hawass, the former Minister of Antiquities, the most famous Egyptologist, confirmed in exclusive statements to “Masrawy” that this statement is completely false, because the ancient Egyptians did not ascend to space.
Hawass said: There are two assumptions about the material of the dagger. One is that the ancient Egyptian was always looking for a good and different material to make his tools. The ancient Egyptian may have found this material in the desert and made of it the dagger, after it fell to the ground from one of the burning meteorites; This is normal.
Concerning the second assumption, the archaeologist added: The dagger-making material may have come from the kingdom of Mitali in the form of a gift from King Mitali to King Amenhotep III.
Did the ancient Egyptians ascend to space?
As for the crazy people who say the dagger came from space; It is a baseless statement, as the presence of such minerals in the desert is normal.
Hawass denied the myth of the ancient Egyptians ascending into space, stressing that this substance was used before in making some things, and it was discovered in Girga in Upper Egypt in 1911, and this has nothing to do with whether the Egyptians ascended to space or not.
