I have not changed my name and will continue to bear my name as my father, Clarence Seedorf said. Seedorf holds a golden residency in the UAE and has a strong relationship with Dubai, which he has been visiting for years for work or vacation. Seedorf retired from the field in 2014 after a career full of achievements and playing in the biggest international clubs such as Ajax, Sampdoria, Real Madrid, Inter, AC Milan and Botafogo before dedicating himself to training and then launching investment projects in the UAE.
