The latest official data revealed that the value of Egypt’s fertilizer exports will increase to $3.3 billion in 2022, compared to $2.2 billion in 2021, an increase of $1.1 billion, an increase of about 50.2%.

According to data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, France topped the list of the top ten countries importing fertilizers from Egypt in the 11 months to 2022, as Egypt’s fertilizer exports were valued at $326.4 million, followed by the United Kingdom at $325.1 million. .

Brazil ranked third with $250.7 million, followed by Italy in fourth place with $223.2 million. India ranked fifth with $207.1 million, followed by Romania at sixth with $151.2 million.

Greece ranked seventh with $117.3 million, followed by Turkey eighth with $108.3 million, Spain ninth with $98.6 million, and finally Bangladesh ranked tenth with $95.8 million.

According to official data, Egyptian exports took a significant leap last year, after their total value increased to about $53.8 billion, compared to about $45 billion in 2021, an increase of 19.5%. On the other hand, the Egyptian import bill was worth about $80 billion last year.
