Elham Shaheen on the Aswan Women’s Film Festival: I participated in his birth and considered him like my son

The great artist Elham Shaheen expressed her love and happiness for being honored by the Aswan International Women’s Film Festival, because she considers him her son, who participated in his birth, and expressed her pride in what the festival offers every year and its success in reaching the Egyptian community, and congratulated Dr. Maya Morsi, Dr. Fayza Al-Kharafi and Palestinian director Najwa Najjar, and the star Donia Samir Ghanem, and confirmed that she is proud of her honor in the Aswan Governorate, whose civilization and people we are proud of in front of all countries of the world and demanded that we work hard to reach the great Egyptian civilization.

She thanked President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi for the great procession of royal mummies, stressing that by the end of the year we will witness the opening of the Great Museum, and concluded her speech by saying: “Long live Egypt, long live the cinema and the honorable people of Aswan.”

The opening ceremony of the fifth session of the Aswan International Film Festival for Women ended in the presence of Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, Dr. Maya Morsy, President of the National Council for Women, Ambassador Christian Berger, head of the European Union delegation in Egypt, and Engineer Ahmed Youssef, head of the Tourism Promotion Authority, and a crowd A large number of stars and filmmakers.

The opening ceremony was presented by the announcer, Aya Gharyani, who had previously presented the royal mummies ceremony, and the theatrical direction of the ceremony was Hisham Atwa, while the director Abdel Rahman Nasr took over the directing and broadcasting live on the Nile Cinema channel.
