ROME, 6th October / WAM / The drivers of the Emirates Cycling Team achieved outstanding results that took it to the podiums in the centenary edition of the Tri Valley Varesini, which was held in Italy on a track of 196.7 km from Borsto Arsizio to Varese.
Taddei Bogachar set off in a perfect attacking performance, reaching the second hour of the race alongside his competitor Tim Wells (Loto Soudal), before they formed an advanced group and widened the difference between them and the main group .. David Formolo also provided a strong performance in his group that included four Other riders, so that Slovenian Pogacar could reach his fellow Formula One in the advanced group 90 km from the finish line.
The race saw a stormy weather that caused damage to the Bugachar’s wheel, forcing him to slow down in the most important parts of the race but he was able to advance again and provide his support to fellow Formulalo, as they worked together with Mark Hershey to reduce the gap between them and the leading group.
The Italian Formulamo cyclist, along with his competitor Alessandro De Marchi of the Israel Start Up Nation team, started in an intense competition between them in the last 10 km before the finish line, and neither of them was able to overtake the other before they reached the final sprint, as De Marchi set out to cross the finish line. He wins the first place, followed by Formolo in second, then Pogachar, who came in third, while Alessandro Covey finished in ninth.
The Emirates team continues its participation in the Italian races, as it went today to participate in the Milan-Torino race, before participating in the Gran Piemonte race on Thursday, then the race of El Lombardy next Saturday, which is the first participation of Tadi Bogachar in the great classic races.
