Fujairah, July 4/WAM/ The Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts has launched its third summer program, “Our Summer is Art”, which will run until the first of next September, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees.

The activities of the summer program, which is held at the Academy’s headquarters, focus on developing the technical skills of all affiliates, teaching them the art of Arabic calligraphy, the art of photography, and the basics of drawing. A workshop was also devoted to learning sculpture, making silicone molds and shaping pottery, and organizing workshops in acting and theater in addition to organizing a course In musical arrangement and acquaintance with the Sibelius basics of note.

His Excellency Ali Obaid Al Hefaiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, said that the “Our Summer is Art” program aims to unleash the creativity of the children participating in the program, to fly into the worlds of art in all its forms, under the supervision of the academy’s educational staff, which studies according to advanced international educational curricula.

Al-Hafeiti stressed that the activities and programs provided by the Academy enjoy great interest and support from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, in order to qualify distinguished artistic cadres that support the arts strategy inside and outside the UAE.

He noted that this year’s “Our Summer is Art” program will witness the entry of new art workshops, such as the art of collage and Picasso School, and the improvement of writing calligraphy with a ballpoint pen and how to deal with gold leaf, in addition to learning the basics of smartphone photography, portraiture and video. character on stage.
