There’s only a month left for the Galaxy S22 series, and to be honest, we’re all excited to see what Samsung has been working on over the past year. Of course, almost everything we wanted to know about the devices has already been revealed, but you know, nothing is better than the official information that will appear as soon as the devices are released.

The star of the show is of course Galaxy S22 Ultra Which will bring most features and upgrades in terms of memory, storage, screen size, battery, etc. However, a new leak suggests that the base Galaxy S22 Ultra variant may not be a huge upgrade.

8GB of RAM in the Galaxy S22 Ultra is meaningless

famous leak ice universe Share that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will come in deals with 8, 12 and 16 GB of RAM, and frankly, the base variant seems like a bad deal.

Plus, we came across a Geekbench list for the two Exynos 2200 And Snapdragon 8 first generation Variants that confirm what Ice Universe has said and the phone actually has an 8GB variant is coming out as well. You can check out the results below.

If it’s too early to say anything about the scores you’re seeing here because the hardware is still somewhat in pre-production or not running software but we’ll have more information once in a while. That Exynos 2200 will finally be official, scheduled for January 11, later this month.

With that apart, the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 8GB of RAM might not be the best deal for a lot of people, considering how they can pay a little more and get more storage and RAM in their phones.
