Greetings to green. The famous Italian body shop has modified the new Peugeot 308

Operating sporadically since 1849, Carozzeria Castagna Milano is one of the oldest body shops in the world. So it’s no surprise that French Peugeot has just loaned it its new 308 GT hatchback so the company can adapt it to its taste.

The Italians chose the car for the prestigious Salone del Mobile design and furniture fair, which is held nowhere other than the world fashion center in Milan. The designers of the Italian company showed the car and made it, as they say, a “green honor”.

The car’s exterior combines two shades of green paint. Inside, designers focused on luxurious materials. Green suede was used on the ceilings as well as on the door panels and pillars. Carbon, which also has a green shade, has also been widely used. Then brown leather was used for the seats and dashboard decoration.

He didn’t mention any other modifications and it’s clear that the car is a one-of-a-kind prototype, which will likely end up in the Body Shop Museum. It was founded in 1849 by Carlo Castagna, who also bought the famous Ferrari. Over the years, the company has worked with leading Italian manufacturers – such as Alfa Romeo or Lancia. Among other things, it contributed to the latest version of the famous Fiat 500 in terms of design.
