Tomorrow, Thursday, the 30th Bahrain International Music Festival will host the Spanish pianist, singer and flamenco composer, Laura de Los Angeles, at the Cultural Hall at 8:00 pm, to present songs and pieces inspired by the beauty of the sea and the search for a better world.
Laura launched her first music release at the age of 22, to be named the first female flamenco pianist and singer, and begins her career with collaboration projects with a number of artists and musicians, award nominations and concert tours across Spain, Europe and Latin America.
The Bahrain International Music Festival will continue in its thirtieth edition until October 16, where the Cultural Hall will host on the ninth and tenth of October a concert celebrating the late artist Salman Zeman, and a celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and India, and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Indian artist Jaywant Naidu performed on October 12 and 13 at the Cultural Hall.
As for the Galali Troupe for Folklore, it will present an evening of folklore on October 14 in Dar Al Muharraq, and on October 15, an evening of folk art by Dar Bin Harban Troupe will be held in Dar Bin Harban in Muharraq. The evening of folk art will be concluded in Dar Al Riffa on October 16 with the Dar Al Riffa small troupe.
The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities called on festival-goers to adhere to precautionary and preventive measures, as attendance at events and workshops held in internal sites is limited to those who have been vaccinated and those who have received the Green Shield, and it is allowed for the vaccinated and non-vaccinated to attend events held abroad.
