The University of Bahrain recently held – over a period of three continuous days and via the Microsoft Teams platform – the second week of an event “Big Data”, which is part of the activities of the Master’s Program in Big Data Science and Analysis, which it offers The Colleges of Science and Information Technology at the University of Bahrain, in cooperation with Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom, have accredited The program was recently announced to be the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Middle East region.

Their pride in the achievements of the program, especially after the graduation of the first batch of students from the program. They also commended the effort made by the Program Management Committee under the direction of the Program Coordinator, Assistant Professor at The Mathematics Department of the College of Science at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Sawsan Juma Hilal, facilitated students’ affairs, and organized the Activities that will enhance students’ skills and broaden their knowledge in the field of data science, such as the field of data science Vital with clear applications in several areas that serve the community.
On the first day of the event, two lectures were held on the uses of machine science, and they reviewed the latest developments in this field the field.
Co-Director of the School of Computer Science and Mathematics and Head of Applied Mathematics at Liverpool John Moores University Prof. Dr. Paulo Lisboa, lecture entitled: “Interpretation of the Models Used in Machine Science”. Meanwhile, Associate Professor of Data Science at Liverpool John Moores University, Dr. Evan Oller, presented a lecture entitled “Uses of Machine Science in the Health Sector”.
