A controversial video spread between Eden Hazard, the Real Madrid winger, and Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, during the match against Belgium and France in the European Nations League.
Hazard was seen joking with the French star during the match that ended with the Roosters winning 3/2, linking the matter to speculation about Mbappe’s transfer to Real.
The incident was captured by television cameras, to ignite again about the player’s departure from Paris, with the end of his contract with the club approaching next summer.
Some joked that Hazard shouted “Hala Madrid” at Mbappe to provoke the young player’s reaction.
But returning to lip-reading, the Spanish newspaper “Marca” confirmed the difficulty of recognizing what Hazard said to Mbappe in this incident.
This behavior is expected to anger Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo, if the Belgian star tried to refer to Mbappe’s move to Real, as he might understand this as a disrespect for the French club.
Mbappe’s mother had recently gone out to confirm that the renewal talks with Paris were going well, but she did not rule out anything happening in the future.
It is noteworthy that the 22-year-old participated in 11 games with Paris in all competitions this season, scoring 4 goals and making 5 others.
