Belgian star Eden Hazard, Real Madrid’s football player, underwent surgery, and is looking forward to end his suffering from injury and pave the way for him to provide his best levels in the Spanish League.
Hazard, 31, who starred tremendously with Chelsea in the Premier League, has suffered from major problems with his right ankle over the past years.
Real Madrid hopes that the player will provide his best level within the team, after Hazard has spent three difficult seasons so far in the Spanish League, since his move to Real in a big deal.
Hazard broke his ankle during his participation in the Belgian national team in 2017, and needed a small chip to help him recover.
But his suffering from muscle problems around the injury site was repeated a lot, especially after a strong intervention from Thomas Meunier during the Real Madrid match against Paris Saint-Germain in November 2019.
After returning from that injury, Hazard suffered a more serious fracture in his fibula in February 2020, and needed a larger chip to be fitted in an operation performed the following month.
After it, many reports indicated that Hazard does not feel comfortable with the second tranche, and the Madridist newspaper “Marca” indicated in March 2021 that he demanded the removal of that tranche.
Indeed, Real Madrid announced on Tuesday that the player underwent successful surgery to remove this chip.
Hazard has participated in 17 league games this season, which is the largest number of participations he has made in a single season since his move to Spain.
Real Madrid is currently leading the Spanish league by nine points in front of second-placed Sevilla, and is looking to restore its balance after the heavy defeat it suffered at home to Barcelona 0-4 before the international break.
Marca newspaper reported that Hazard will likely be out for between four and six weeks, and that club president Florentino Perez visited him in hospital.
