Honor plans to revive the Magic phone, four years after it launched the second generation of its flagship smartphone series, according to the technical website gsmarena.
The trusted leak account @RODENT950 confirmed, via a tweet he shared on Twitter, that Honor plans to launch the Magic 3 phone, at an event to be held in August.
The tweet shows a sticker containing an old promotional image of the Honor Magic 2, which comes with a sliding design that the Chinese company launched in October 2018. Honor hid the selfie camera, front sensors and earpiece in a sliding part of the phone tucked under the screen.
HONOR Magic innovative foldable design
If Honor is already bringing back the Magic product line, it is expected that the famous brand will present the upcoming Magic phone with a foldable design, to be the company’s first release in this category because this series is related to the innovative design.
In addition to the sliding camera, Honor designed the previous version of the Magic 2 phone, with a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen, with a display quality of 1080 x 2340 pixels, front and back made of glass, and an aluminum frame.
The Magic 2 phone is powered by the Kirin 980 processor, with a 7nm manufacturing accuracy, paired with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage, not expandable.
The Magic 2 phone came with a distinctive triple rear camera, including a 16 + 16 + 24 megapixel camera, along with a 16 megapixel front camera, and the phone contains a 3500 mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging technology.
