How to conserve energy during Covid? The Kamba Festival is recommended

How to manage stress in the Internet environment, how to maintain activity and energy in these difficult times, or how to “breathe properly”. Kampa Festival 2021 offers a wide range of inspiring lectures and interactive workshops. This year’s event will be held in a funky mix of online lectures and workshops.

“An in-person meeting is scheduled for the first 50 participants in Tabor, South Bohemia, of course if government procedures permit. For the other people who buy a ticket, a live webcast will be available,” says Jan Homola, one of the main organizers of the event.

The first online program will be opened on Wednesday by theologian, naturalist, educator and writer Marek Orko-Facha with his lecture “Desire for Life!” Visitors can also look forward to a lecture by the important Czech philosopher and writer Anna Huginova, a workshop by psychologist Tomás Kvapilik or a live webcast with Martin J. Stransky and many other speakers.

The event is organized by the non-profit organization Kamba, which was established in Tabor in 2016 with the need to provide the opportunity for health professionals to renew their strength to practice their profession. This is how the KAMBA Festival was created, which was held for the first time in 2017.

“After the first year, we met with success and very positive comments. She gave us energy and it turned out

This format, a combination of lectures, workshops and theater or music, is the right way to go, ”adds Jan Homola.

In 2018, the organization established another small festival for the first time, KAMBA STUDENT, which was held for the fourth time last November and is mainly dedicated to high school and university students. Last year, which was a hit, it happened online, live and for free. They were the main topics

Internet safety, mental health and digital addiction, i.e. current topics covered by students.

Last but not least, Kamba is behind creating support projects in which experts help maintain good health. Everything takes place in the form of workshops, where participants try the theory “on their own skin”. An example is the “Save Your Back” project led by experienced physiotherapists, which was implemented for teachers in several schools in Tabor.

All of this KAMBA is doing to support those who are here primarily for the sake of others.
