The GTS shares the same basics and driving as the coupe sold so far. The Spider is equipped with a retractable hardtop that can be opened or closed in 14 seconds at a speed of up to 45 km / h.
The roof is divided into two parts by the command of a button and points under the hood, while a height-adjustable glass screen behind the two seats improves airflow. The aforementioned items and augmentations add 70 kg to the 1,470 kg dry weight GTB.
However, other data does not suffer much. Ferrari reported the same electric range of 25 km/h in EV mode and although the Spider’s 0-200 km/h acceleration in 7.6 seconds is 0.3 seconds longer, the GTS and GTB both sprint to 100 km/h in the same 2.9 seconds.
The three-liter, six-cylinder engine and supercharger spin up to 8,500 rpm. It achieves 663 horsepower and 165 kHz from the electric motor. The 830-horsepower system targets the rear wheels only.
Ferrari offers the GTS in the same sharper Assetto Fiorano package as the coupe. In the photo gallery, it is represented by a car in red.
The driver-focused package offers more use of carbon fibre, lightweight door panels that reduce weight by 8 kg and aerodynamic wings on the front bumper that increase downforce by 10 kg. A GTS equipped with this package will develop 360 kg of downforce at a speed of 240 km / h.
Ferrari has not announced prices yet.
