An Indian teacher recently built a home for his wife, a replica of the famous Taj Mahal, saying their new home is a “symbol of his love” for her.

The man had originally planned to build an 80-foot-high building, but canceled his plan after the authorities refused to grant him the required permits to build such a structure, so he continued building the house based on the architecture of the “Taj Mahal” in Accra, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The constructed building occupies an area of ​​60 square metres, and features a main dome that is 29 feet high, and includes two bedrooms on two floors, a kitchen, a library and a meditation room. It took more than three years to build.

Choksi, who lives in Burhanpur in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, now believes his majestic home will become a major attraction for tourists.
