Iniesta: Messi is the best whether he wins the World Cup or not. Busquets’ retirement did not surprise me

And he continued, talking about the Spain national team: “I was confident that the national team would go very far, because I trusted that group of players and Luis Enrique. In the end, the World Cup is like this. A very difficult match.”

And about Busquets’ retirement: “I was not surprised because I have a very good relationship with him. We talk about many things in addition to his advanced age at the present time through the change that the national team is also witnessing. He felt that he would not see a future in his presence.”

And about the presence of Xavi as Barcelona coach, he said: “I think the progress he has made has been positive. I already know that titles in the end are what determine the future and almost everything, but progress is positive to reach the point we all want.”
