Agency: Negotiations on the Iranian nuclear deal have not stopped, and the ongoing European bidding is the reason for the slowdown

Bagheri said, in a statement to Iranian television on Saturday evening: “Our positions are based on the agreement concluded in 2015 between Iran and the 5+1 group, and our points, observations and demands are based exactly on that agreement.”

Bagheri, who is leading his country’s delegation in Vienna, added: “Last week, we prepared and presented the Iranian side’s positions and views on the final draft of the sixth round of negotiations in Vienna to the other party, and this means that the Islamic Republic of Iran enters negotiations with the other party on the basis of this vision, priorities and positions. “.

And Bagheri added, “It is natural that the other party presents its inferences, vision and priorities, and usually in the course of the ongoing negotiations at the expert level, some differences in viewpoints are resolved and the remaining issues should be discussed at a higher level between Iran and the 4+1 group.”

He considered that “the atmosphere within the negotiations is very serious, but within the commitment of mutual respect with the vision that the two parties want to reach an agreement,” explaining: “This atmosphere has prevailed in the negotiating room since we came here, and it is natural for each party to defend its positions, come up with its inferences and pursue its interests.” But I did not see any tendency to prejudice the course of the negotiations.”

Regarding the Iranian side, I am optimistic about reaching an agreement, but given the bad impression in the memory of our people about the past of the other side, we We certainly won’t be naive.”
