Juventus have announced the signing of midfielder Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo.
Juventus said in a statement on its official website that Locatelli’s joining strengthened the team’s midfield, praising the player’s undeniable talent, as described by the Italian club.
He added that with Locatelli in the ranks of Juventus, the number of international players who won the European Nations Cup (Euro 2020) with the Italian national team in the old lady’s team, was reinforced by another player, along with Federico Bernardeschi, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Federico Chiesa.
Juventus and Sassuolo agreed to sign Locatelli, on loan, until June 2023, with the former obligating the player to sign the player permanently at the end of the 2022/2023 season for 25 million euros ($29 million), with additions amounting to 12.5 million euros.
Juventus will start its new season in the Italian league, against Udinese on the 22nd of this month.
