As part of the global marketing campaign “Dubai Presents”, the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai (Dubai Tourism) announced the release of the campaign’s second movie clip, a short comedy film featuring international stars Jessica Alba and Zac Efron, and this announcement comes a few days later. From the launch of the campaign’s first cinematic clips, entitled “The Spy”, by international director Craig Gillespie, winner of the Guild Award.

The scenes of the campaign’s second movie revolve in a fun comedy format, accompanied by orchestral music, to showcase the best shows of Dubai, which provide amazing romantic experiences for the emirate’s guests and visitors.

The two stars, Alba and Efron, play the role of two people who wander solo in the halls distinguished by their magnificent architectural designs within the most famous destinations in the emirate, such as the Dubai Creek and the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, and other small cafes scattered on the outskirts of the creek in the Al Seef area, then the work shows the splendor of the Dubai desert and the camps it embraces And a variety of activities, along with the urban beauty of the emirate, and attractions for couples with different interests and tastes, starting from enjoying a special evening under the stars in the desert, enjoying luxurious meals, and ending with exploring the exceptional landmarks in the heart of Dubai.

For his part, Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said: “The #Dubai_Provides campaign reflects the vision and directives of the wise leadership aimed at promoting innovation and leadership in the emirate by providing interactive and attractive promotional content that highlights Dubai and the various tourist destinations and attractions it embraces. This encourages visitors around the world to visit the emirate and enjoy the advanced tourism infrastructure that the emirate possesses, which has enabled it to be one of the most prominent tourist destinations around the world.”

Parts of the global campaign will be launched sequentially over the next few months, showing cinematic clips that advance tourism promotion, and providing an entertainment platform that includes movie posters and promotional clips through digital stations and other means that ensure the enjoyment and interaction of viewers.

Building on the success of previous campaigns launched by Dubai Tourism, #Dubai_ presents a series of promotional films for the emirate starring Alba and Efron, who will present a series of interactive stories that reflect the splendor of Dubai in all its regions and landmarks, and will also include a series of exciting shows that Celebrating the diverse culinary arts of Dubai and other key holiday and business attractions, director Craig Gillespie uses advanced cinematic cameras and lenses to provide interactive content that highlights Dubai’s highlights and exceptional locations.

The filming of the second campaign film took five days, while adhering to the preventive measures of “Covid-19”, and gathered a diverse crew of more than 180 people from more than 27 nationalities, including talented celebrities, the director, and the award-winning production and creativity crews.
